A few reviews mention the location of the hotel, commenting that there are plenty of activities and places of interest within the surrounding area. Guests do comment that the town of Barrow has very little in it, and that driving is a necessity.
Whilst there are some reviews that suggest that staff could be more friendly, the majority of reviews describe staff as friendly and helpful, and knowledgable of the surrounding area, happy to give advice on various activities and trips when asked.
