Onsite, there is an indoor and outdoor function space available for hire that caters to everything from corporate meetings to birthday parties. The on-site bistro provides a casual atmosphere in which to enjoy international favourites like schnitzels, and a variety of other pub fare suitable for the whole family. It seems most guests staying at the hotel are just passing through and need a place to crash for the night. In general, it seems that these guests were quite happy with their choice saying that, while the facilities may have been basic, they had everything they needed for a single night's rest.
Though guests didn't particularly rave about the quality of the food in the bistro, they didn't complain about it either. They were, however, fulsome in their praise of the quantities served, with guests very happy that they it was not the kind of place that tried to cut corners by offering tiny portions.
A couple of guests were pleasantly surprised that they didn't hear any of the noise from the bar in their rooms. It seems the design of the building, while resulting on awkward access, also results in the rooms being a bit insulated from the bar area.
The property's purpose is not primarily as a hotel, but as a sports betting and viewing spot. Perhaps as a result of this, many guests comment that the rooms seem a bit like an afterthought, and have a particularly odd and awkward access point. While not a dealbreaker for guests, they simply found it a bit strange.
While not a common complaint at all, it was mentioned that the beds are on wheels, so if you sit up against the headboard with any sort of force you may find yourself, hopefully together with the bed, on the other side of the room. No admission, or per ride, fee is charged for this service.
A couple of guests mention problems with the air conditioning in their rooms. Things like it emitting a foul smell, making a loud racket, or not working at all. While not widespread, guests are still advised to check that all is well when checking in.
