Design Hotel Stadt Rosenheim, is a 4 star family run hotel in Munich opposite the Ostbahnhof station and a 5 minute train ride from the Marienplatz in the city centre. The building dates back to 1895 and was completely renovated in 2010. There are 51 individual designed guest rooms. Each has an en-suite bathroom with bath, shower, and WC, hair dryer, direct dial telephone, flat screen television with satellite TV channels, wireless internet connection free of charge and a free bottle of water. Most rooms have a safe and the hotel can provide iPod, iPhone and iPad docking stations on request. A buffet breakfast is available each morning. The nearby train station can connect you with Munich Airport in just over 30 minutes and the trade fair centre in 11 minutes. The U-Bahn and S-Bahn stops have connections throughout the city. The hotel is in the Munich neighbourhood of Haidhausen which has many bars and restaurants.
