Leonardo Hotel Munich Arabellapark (Munich, Germany)

Most felt this location was quiet, comfortable and pleasantly situated, although a bit of a hike from some favourite attractions.  The free bike hire is popular as a way to tour the city and the lovely English Garden grounds (just make sure its in good working order), and the free airport shuttle is convenient.  Lots of safe, covered parking is available on-site and nearby street parking is free. There is a petrol station next door for necessities. Breakfast is tasty and of plentiful selection. If you're visiting town for an event, check this hotel's price compared to others'; you'll find there is likely a significant difference in this locale's favour.  Overall, the quality and value for money is good.  

Very helpful and friendly, this team goes above and beyond.  They'll help you print tickets, jot down directions or tour info and make any necessary corrections to your booking without delay.  Most are even multilingual.

Nicely set back away from noise and bustle, you'll sleep well in these rooms.  Clean and comfy with amenities to meet your needs in a fairly basic accommodation.  Don't be surprised if fruit plates or other complimentary items are waiting on the table to greet your arrival!

Some couldn't get a signal or had sporadic connectivity.

Some might say this place is screaming for a refurb.  Bathrooms are tiny and beds are narrow.  Housekeeping staff does not always clean thoroughly during your stay or replenish tea/coffee provisions and/or glassware.  Alarm clocks and other amenities/furnishings are outdated and may not function reliably. Air conditioning does not always work, so ask for a fan.  

Not ideally situated; ten minutes' walk from nearest train station.  The bike hire is your best bet.
