International House Hotel (New Orleans, USA)

The hotel is situated in the center of New Orleans being a short walk away from the French Quarter and Canal Place. Guests were pleased to find that they had numerous bars and restaurants on their doorstep as well as lots of shops, art galleries and local landmarks. .

Upon entering the hotel, many said that they were impressed with the elegant lobby which had plenty of comfortable seating areas where guests could relax with their daily paper. The bar was equally praised by the guests who described it as atmospheric and an ideal place to enjoy a few drinks and socialize. .

Most of the guests were pleasantly surprised with the size of their rooms stating that they had plenty of space to move around and to stow away their belongings. The bathrooms were said to be equally roomy with large walk-in showers. The decor was described as modern and stylish with quality furniture and interesting artwork adorning the walls. .

Some guests were disappointed to find that they were allocated rooms that did not have windows which meant that they had to keep the lights on during the day. If you are keen on having a scenic view and natural light it's advisable to let staff know prior to booking. .

The continental breakfasts were described as being quite meager with only cereal bars, yogurts and fruit juices on offer. Guests objected to the lack of variety and having to eat the same items every day. .

Guests said that they could hear noise from the adjoining rooms due to the thin walls as well as disturbances from the hallway which prevented some from getting a good night's sleep.
