For a hotel near one of the most popular areas in New York, there have been no noise complaints from guests. Even though you're staying a block from all the action of Times Square, the traffic and outside noise isn't noticeable. Guests have not complained about hearing their neighbors either. Please note, the hotel has a quiet policy after 10pm.
The apartment complex has only four levels, and there are no elevators inside the building. Furthermore, the stairs are rather narrow and may be an issue for those who have to carry heavy luggage, or those who find climbing stairs difficult.
Guests thought the hotel and the rooms are a bit outdated and could use remodeling in a lot of aspects. The light switches and outlets are loose and need to be replaced. The bathroom looks too old and needs to be renovated. Some plumbing issues have also been reported but are usually fixed quickly by management.
Guests staying late fall were surprised to see the window AC still not closed off. There are wide gaps under doors making the apartment feel rather drafty. However, a space heater is provided for guests, and keeps the room toasty and comfortable. Guests have had no complaints about the heating system.
