The four star,Hotel Turtle Crawl Inn Resort consists of a series of condos and houses that overlook the Gulf of Mexico from a Longboat Key Island location. Individually owned properties are standardized with private bathroom, equipped kitchen and dining area. They include color TV with DVD player with facilities for dining and a sofa bed. Houses include additional features. Hotel Turtle Crawl Inn Resort has tropical gardens, a pool and BBQ facilities for use by visitors. There is an onsite launderette and the beach is a few steps away. The shops and restaurants of Saint Armand’s Circle and Sarasota are a few miles drive away. The Qwik N EZ convenience store is just a five minutes’ walk and restaurants such as Pattigeorge’s and Maison Blanche are both in the immediate vicinity. Sarasota Bradenton Airport is a 20 minute drive and Sarasota jungle Garden is six miles from the resort.
There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. A real favorite is the Dry Dock Grill, less than 10 minutes drive and where the oysters are unforgettable. Equally, the self-caterer should call in to the Publix convenience store and pick up a king crab for easy grilling.
Forget the noisy touristy attractions, surf shops and crowds; just relax in what is a perfectly peaceful haven. These units are fully equipped to include beach chairs and towels so you don't need to go anywhere .. unless you want to.

It's an old building in need of repair. Units leave much to be desired, with broken accessories, uncleaned rooms and dirty bedding. Certainly not the heavenly haven that was described.
If some of the owners had any business acumen, they'd realize the importance of 'return' business. That won't materialize if visitors feel ripped off. Instead, the visitor arrives to find the place in a state of disrepair with cobwebs, mold and unrepaired damage from previous, long gone, guests. Are folk likely to return to this sort of setting? *Answers on a postcard!
You don't get a cleaning service, you do it yourself. You are also responsible for removing rubbish from the unit. Failure to do this results in extra charges and you landing in the financial (Turtle) soup. They love extra charges!
