Hotel Truman (Key West, USA)

There is nothing to worry about if you do not have your own vehicle at the Truman Hotel. Shopping, fine cuisine and entertainment is just a short walk away down at Duval Street. If you want to spend the day at the beach, then Key West South Beach is also within walking distance.

Visitors have commented on the extra special touches that seem to make all the difference. Iced tea is served at the pool during hot, summer days, little chocolates are left on your bed after dinner, and bottled water in the rooms are complimentary.

There is a great ambiance throughout the hotel. Visitors love the poolside atmosphere, and the free lemonade served while you are relaxing around the pool on the loungers. The beautiful landscape creates shaded walkways if you need to get some relief from the sun.

Although a continental breakfast is served every day, travelers have reported that the choice is a little limited. If a high-carb diet is what you are after, then this breakfast will suit you, otherwise you could choose to start your day at the nearby shopping center, where there is an array of different choices.

There have been instances where guests have heard the sounds of the neighbors' bath water, and the flushing of the toilet. The walls might be a little thin to confine every sound to each and every room; however guests say this is not enough to spoil a great vacation.

Although Wi-Fi is free throughout the Truman Hotel, visitors have struggled to maintain a decent connection in the rooms; nonetheless, the connection in the lobby and public areas is very good.
