Many guests enjoy the fact that the hotel location is in an area that is safe and not loud at night. The designed outdoor gardens and white sand sunning terrace have been getting rave reviews, as have the four pools that are on the property.
The staff is helpful and friendly, no matter if you encounter them at the water sports center, the Cafe Bleu or the front desk. They are able to recommend many activities or a reliable cab company.
Clean, comfortable and spacious, the rooms provide a great experience for most guests. Many also enjoy taking advantage of the patio or balcony that every room has.
Many guests were not happy with the fact that Duval Street, the well-known nightlife district of Key West, was not in walking distance and had to be reached by cab. If you are planning to party at night, you have to budget for these expenses or pick a resort nearer to the party area.
Though the hotel provides free parking, there are not enough spaces for everybody if the hotel is booked. Some guests also felt the parking lot is too far from the building.
Some guests felt that the money for a water view room was not well spent, as they did either not have a straight view or the water view was not a real ocean view as it seems to be more of a side canal than the open ocean. You might want to think about booking this upgrade.
