The Old Court is a family-run guest house located inside a renovated Victorian Courthouse near Bristol. All rooms come equipped with satellite TV, tea and coffee making facilities as well as an alarm clock. Hair dryers and ironing boards are also available on request. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas and in most rooms. The Old Court also has two fully equipped function rooms which can be used for conferences or for wedding parties of up to 80 guests. Free off-site parking is provided and the guest house also has a walled garden with terrace, pond and waterfall for relaxing. Breakfast is included in the room price and is provided each morning. For lunch and dinner there are numerous pubs and restaurants nearby. The Thermal Bath Spa, Theatre Royal, Longleat Safari Park, Wookey Hole Caves as well as Glastonbury Abbey are all located within driving distance.
The owners of the guest house are very friendly and accommodating with quite bubbling personalities, and often greet guests with tea upon arrival. The owners are also very knowledgeable of the surrounding area and can make good recommendations for eating

Rooms located near the front of the house are unfortunately affected by the traffic from the road nearby which can be heard during the day and also at night. Light sleepers are recommended to request a room at the back of the guest house where the traffic
The Wi-Fi signal is rather weak and is unfortunately not available in all of the guest house's rooms. The rooms and public areas that do have Wi-Fi access do not have very good signal strength.
Unfortunately not all rooms offer ensuite bathroom facilities and some guests have to share a communal bathroom. Guests should bear this in mind when making a booking if ensuite facilities are preferred.
