You can expect a great night's sleep with many guests reporting extremely comfortable beds. Linens are high quality and everything is very clean.

This historic hotel has well-manicured grounds with fountains, flowers, trees and lawns. Inside, there are marble floors, plush carpets, polished wood trim and elegant furniture. The building and grounds are maintained to a high standard with utmost respect to the property's rich heritage.

The food is of an excellent standard and service is also impeccable. The menu is extensive and everything is fresh and tasty. The Champagne Sunday Brunch is a treat not to be missed and includes salads, seafood, a meat carving station and an array of desserts.

Bedrooms and bathrooms are a little cramped, and some guests may find the double beds too small. However, the high levels of comfort and cleanliness more than make up for these size issues.

Although the hotel's cuisine is highly praised, you might find the prices on the steep side. You may also be somewhat dismayed at the Styrofoam cups provided in rooms for coffee and cold drinks.

The hotel has stunning grounds and is equipped with a fitness center. Unfortunately, the gym is very small and lacks enough basic equipment with only one bike, one treadmill and one cross-trainer. There is no swimming pool or Jacuzzi, but the installation of a pool is in the pipeline.
