Hotel The Cartwright (Bradford, United Kingdom)

The breakfast provided at The Cartwright is plentiful and inexpensive. Guests were able to choose from a variety of cereals, yoghurt, juices as well as full English breakfast along with a hot drink to start their day.

When visiting The Cartwright you are likely to be greeted like an old friend. Staff are reportedly welcoming, very friendly and open to social conversation. Staff are also hospitable and willing to accommodate requests where possible to make your stay ple

Most rooms were found to be clean and spacious and included good quality linens and towels.

Guests reported that the hotel is in need of maintenance as various items in the rooms were either old or broken. Problems included walls which were stained and/or the paint was flaking off, uncomfortable beds with loose springs, broken shower facilities.

The hotel advertises itself as a smoke-free property, however guests did not find this to be true. Guests reported that the rooms and at times the beds and pillows smelled strongly of cigarette smoke.

Some guests found that the rooms were not adequately cleaned from previous guests. Rooms were reportedly dirty, dusty, and it was not uncommon to find hair in the bathroom.
