Penn Station can be reached in 25 minutes. Great Neck downtown area is within walking distance and has lots of upscale shopping and dining options.
The staff is friendly, attentive and accommodating. Guests say they genuinely want to make you feel welcome and are quite efficient should you have a request or concern.

The air conditioner works a little too well. Guests said it was always too cold when they had it on and too stuffy without it. In addition, the fan is oddly positioned to blow right on to the bed, which most found annoying. Several guests also mentioned the A/C being too noisy to sleep with. Others commented that it's simply too old and need to be replaced.
