Hotel Terrace Inn On The Water (Gatlinburg, USA)

The Terrace Inn on the Water in Gatlinburg enjoys a central location by the lovely river of Roaring Fork. Guests enjoy the sound of flowing water and the proximity to several of the town's tourist attractions. The Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre is a three minute walk and the Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies is less than a ten minute walk from the Inn. The Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort is a five minute drive. Guests have the option of taking the Gatlinburg trolley to explore places like the Tanger Outlets and Dolly's Splash Country among others.

The rooms and cottages have pleasant views of the river from the balconies or porches featured in them. They have facilities of minifridges, microwaves and coffeemakers along with satellite TVs and air conditioning.

The Inn has staff to assist or attend to the needs of the guests all through the day and night. The lobby of the Inn has a computer for guest use. There are vending machines on site for snacks and for drinks if guests want to grab some refreshments. For other meals, guests have the convenience of dining at many restaurants all close by.

The rooms are reportedly old and dirty. There is smell of mold present everywhere. Some guests have complained about couches being ripped and stained, and beds being shaky with uneven legs. Many of the electric points in the room do not work. Few guests have even voiced concern about bed bugs and stained sheets. There is no place provided for hanging clothes.

Some guests reportedly complained about the bathroom light not working, and the replacement provided was a broken lamp. The lack of hot water has been noted, and towels have been found to be worn out.

Guests have found the Wi-Fi signal to be weak in the rooms. The TV reception is also very poor.
