Hotel is located in the heart of Sydney with the city’s main attractions being easily accessible by either public transport or on foot. Several cafes, restaurants, fast food eateries and bars are close by. The Chinese Garden of Friendship is an eight-minute walk away and both the Museum and Town Hall train stations are within five-minutes’ walk. The harbour and Sydney Harbour Bridge can be reached within 15-minutes’ by public transport or within 25-minutes by walking through Hyde Park and the Royal Botanic Gardens.

The no-frills rooms cover all the basics of a comfortable bed, clean sheets and private lockers for you to safely store your valuables. Guests who wish to self cater will also find the communal to be well equipped with dishes, cutlery and cookware.

The general atmosphere is a friendly and relaxed one with guests being free to relax and socialise together in the guest lounge and on the rooftop terrace. The staff have also been described as friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Guests warned that some of the rooms do not have windows and lack natural light.

While free Wi-Fi is advertised, it is not a reliable service. Guests complained that the Wi-Fi was either slow or difficult to connect to, and also cannot be reliably accessed from all rooms.

While daily housekeeping is advertised, neither the guest rooms nor the bathroom facilities or communal kitchen are kept reliably keen. Many guests complained that these areas are often dirty, particularly the communal bathrooms.
