Most guests found that the rooms at the Super 8 New Orleans were of a good standard. It does appear that the bathrooms could do with a deep clean, but otherwise the rooms are clean and comfortable. Amenities aren't lavish but are certainly sufficient.

All things considered, this hotel offers good value for money. The room rates are low and compare favorably to what you might pay if you stayed closer to the center of New Orleans. Plus, free extras such as parking and breakfast add value.

Guests describe the staff at this hotel in favorable terms, often commenting on how the staff is knowledgeable about the local area and more than willing to help with directions and public transport information. The housekeeping team also attract positive reviews.

Although many guests liked the location of this hotel, many found it a little too far away from the main attractions and advise that use of a car would be beneficial during your stay. Note, that New Orleans is notorious for large amounts of traffic, so public transport may be a better option.

A fair number of guests comment that they found the hotel looked a little dated. It's not like the hotel needs a complete refurbishment or anything like that, but a little update here and there would certainly make the property more pleasing to the eye.

This won't bother most guests, but a few do mention that there was only one computer in the business center. This seems a little ridiculous considering the number of guests who could potentially need to use it.
