If you are expecting a spectacular view, you won't be disappointed. It's great because the hotel has binoculars in the room just for that purpose. .

Take a walk across the lift bridge to Canal Park for dinner and watch the ships go by. The hotel is a bit out of the way, perhaps that's why it's so cozy. There are restaurants in the immediate area as well. It's really striking. Because the hotel is not really huge, you will feel like it's a secret hideaway that only you and whoever you are with know about. .

Depending on which room you book, you will have a fireplace, great views, modern décor, Jacuzzi, picture window, balcony, nice sized bed. It's paradise and you will savor every moment. And it's clean! Though the hotel is on a busy road and the bridge is equipped with warning devices that go off when the bridge is raised and lowered. Thankfully, the hotel has decent soundproofing. .

The breakfast is not what you would expect from an establishment such as this. It's all processed crap. No hot breakfast is offered either. .

The hotel offers coffee in the morning. Though it is complimentary you don't expect to have to drink out of a styrofoam cup! It just doesn't fit with the price you pay and the ambiance of the hotel. .

The staff has no real knowledge of the beautiful surrounding. In fact, they don't even appear interested. Maybe it's because they've "been there-done that" and the environment no longer excites them.
