The Holiday Inn & Suites Duluth-Downtown is conveniently located close to a number of great attractions and places of interest. Places like the Lake Superior Zoo and Great lake Aquarium are popular sites as well as great shopping and dining just around the corner in Downtown Duluth and Canal Park.

Coupled with the convenience of being so close to great places of interest, a shuttle service is also available to guests. Guests have enjoyed that they did not need to make extensive travel arrangements to get to and from attractions as this hotel has got guests covered.

This hotel is based on a central courtyard layout with rooms facing the courtyard. The pool is located in this courtyard and is open until 10:30 pm so there will obviously be guests swimming and children playing games until quite a late hour that has proved to be an inconvenience to guests wanting a good night sleep.

Guests who have checked in with large groups have complained that the rooms they were assigned were not directly next to each other or weren't even on the same floor. Obviously this cannot be the case every time a big booking is made but as much as the hotel can, it should place guests of one party next to each other.

This hotel does offer free Wi-Fi however there have been complaints that its speed is nothing to boast about, especially for guests expecting to do business at the hotel using the internet.
