It's one of those situations where the reception/check-in area is not at the actual place where you will be staying. You have to basically learn a system with all the complications and frustrations of getting the code, the key out of the box, and so on. What's more, they don't let you know that reception is in another area beforehand.
It seems that a building has been erected blocking much of the previous lovely view. Now you have a building that blocks the river view and all you see are the units in the adjacent building.
You might find the noise disturbing due to the nearby railway. In addition, the facility is on a busy intersection and even when the doors are closed, it's possible to hear something. Never mind the helicopters and sirens buzzing around.
