Hotel Silver Creek Lodge (Canmore, Canada)

Many of the rooms look out onto the nearby mountain range and many guests said that sitting out on their balconies whilst admiring the scenic views was one of the highlights of their stay. The hotel is situated close to the highway which guests found very convenient whilst many said that they were able to get to the nearest shops, bars and restaurants on foot.

Guests were pleased to report that their rooms were well-presented boasting a modern yet subtle decor. Many appreciated the numerous features and  amenities in their en-suites such as the heated floors and cosy fireplaces as well as having practical items such as fridges and microwaves which allowed guests to prepare their own meals.

Those who visited the on-site spa said that they thoroughly enjoyed their facials and massages and were also impressed with the cleanliness and overall decor of the facility. The outdoor hot-tubs were also said to be clean and warmed to a pleasant temperature thus proving very popular with the majority of the guests.

Guests reported that the housekeeping service was quite sporadic and many objected to the fact that their bathroom and kitchen supplies were not replenished on a regular basis prompting them to request the items from the reception staff.

Those whose rooms overlooked the highway said that they found the traffic noise quite intrusive which prevented many from opening their windows. Others mentioned that due to the poor soundproofing they were able to hear noise from the adjoining rooms.

. Guests found the thermostats in their rooms quite difficult to operate and said that due to the lack of air-conditioning units their suites often felt uncomfortably warm and stuffy.
