Hotel Secreto (Isla Mujeres, Mexico)

The hotel is a short walk from the bars, restaurants and shops if guests wanted to eat or drink in the area. The ferry pier is also a short distance, while the beach of the island is a short minute's walk from here.

The hotel is mentioned to be a lovely and charming hotel with a beautiful swimming pool overlooking the sea. It was clean and the rooms were comfortable. The hotel had a relaxing setting for them to enjoy their vacation.

The staff were said to be helpful and friendly with a smile by guests. They helped to set up things to get guests settled in their rooms and helped with tour and transportation information. It was of great help to have them working in the hotel.

The rooms were found to be humid and musty by guests. They did not enjoy that the furnishings were damp and therefore very uncomfortable to use. The musty smell in the accommodations was not a nice thing to have.

Guests felt that the bathrooms were not working as well as they should. The showers did not have good pressure and there were things missing that should not be for a high star hotel. Guests felt it needed a fixing or a renovation.

The Wi-Fi was slow and not working well at all in the rooms. It was annoying that the Wi-Fi was so unstable as it would have been nice to have a good and reliable connection to use.
