While away from the city centre, this property is on a direct bus route into town. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel and the buses come approximately every 5 minutes. It’s a ten minute ride. Alternatively, a taxi won’t set you back too much money. The motorway is nearby, meaning you can get to and from here with ease.

St. Andrews Stadium is just a stone’s throw away, so if you are planning to watch a match there, you couldn’t be better placed.

The Wi-Fi at Royal George is temperamental to say the least. You might have a hard time accessing it and, when you do manage to get online, may find it to be slow or unresponsive.

Despite being advertised as soundproofed, guestrooms still experience some noise from the downstairs bar. You might hear loud music until late at night.

To access the guestrooms you’ll need to walk through the pub. This isn’t too much of hassle unless Birmingham City Football Club are playing at home, at which times the bar gets absolutely packed. People spill out onto the street and it can be a nightmare trying to make your way through the crowds to get upstairs. The traffic in the area can be a nightmare before and after matches as well.
