A number of visitors said they really enjoyed outdoor pool. They like the fact that it was heated and not overly crowded with visitors. In fact, some said the area around the hotel is rather peaceful and relaxing.

A number of people mentioned that they really enjoyed the ample, on-site, free parking. They didn't have to fight for spaces and it didn't cost them anything, which was an added bonus.

Although the hotel is beside a bay, a number of guests mentioned that the hotel felt damp and had a musty odour in some places. They also remarked that the property seems to be falling into disrepair with a lot of little issues (lack of hot water, cobwebs hanging about, broken steam room, missing bathroom locks and shabby paint jobs).

The meals themselves can be hit or miss. Some days the food can taste exceptionally good… other days… not so much. Some people also remarked that they had to wait to be seated and/or served. So your mealtime odyssey may differ from one day to the next.

Guests warn you should be prepared to hear everything going on at your fellow travellers’ room -- the reason is the walls are rather than here. If you’re light sleeper, or you're looking for privacy, this location may not be perfect for you.
