Guests find a lot to like about the hotel's location, including the Breakfast Creek Hotel right across the street (try the steak!) and its proximity to the Brisbane River walkways. The Albion Park Raceway is also very close by, and guests also like being able to get to the CBD or the airport in about 15 minutes, too.

The hotel is popular with families and groups of friends, who widely describe the apartments as clean, spacious, and modern. The full kitchens are generally considered well equipped, and the laundry machines are also a plus. Some rooms have a lovely view of the river or track from the balcony. The pool and gym are also attractive and well maintained, if not particularly large.

Guests in rooms closest to the track enjoy the view but sometimes find the noise to be an issue, while those in rooms closest to the adjacent building feel they have too little privacy on the balcony.

Several guests have described the pillows as very uncomfortable, and note the beds are on the firm side. The king beds can be broken into singles as need be, but create a mildly irritating seam down the middle when they are attached.
