Hotel Quality Inn Riverfront Harrisburg (Harrisburg, USA)

As the name suggests the hotel enjoys a fantastic location on the Susquehanna River giving you a wonderful view. Previous guests have mentioned how nice it is to have a stroll along the banks of the river and how it seems like you are far from civilization yet only ten minutes’ walk away from downtown Harrisburg and everything it has to offer such as The National Civil War Museum. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance and just ten minutes’ drive away there is Harrisburg Mall.

Staff are very welcoming and very helpful and they will go out of their way to try and fulfil any special requests you have in order that your stay is as pleasurable as possible. The front desk in particular have received a special mention for always being polite and courteous and also for being knowledgeable about the local area and willing to recommend things to see and do in addition to the best places to go to grab a bite to eat.

Rooms have all the amenities you need for your stay here including microwave and refrigerator and the bathrooms are spacious.

The décor is looks like it needs updating in addition to the carpets being quite dirty throughout the building and in need of a replacement or a good clean.

Despite the hotel’s policy of no smoking previous guests have reported that there is a strong smell of cigarette smoke in corridors which is quite unpleasant.

Breakfast is a dull affair with food looking like it has been blitzed in the microwave and not the best quality.
