Olympic hotel is a small hotel situated in the heart of Munich. The tram station next to the hotel is called Müllerstraße (two trams in operation - 17 and 18) and the U-bahn station - Frauenhoferstraße#1 (two tubes in operation - U1 and U2). The hotel has earned a reputation for its oil paintings and exhibitions are presented by local artists. Colourful, modern paintings adorn the high white walls in the lobby and oil paintings in the long hotel corridors. All 38 rooms at the Olympic Hotel are individually furnished with bathroom, colour TV, telephone and mini-bar. They are al of a different size, equipped with antiques and mostly overlooking the courtyard. Breakfast is served in the bright breakfast room. It is decorated with high round arches, and has a huge wall mirror and the large conservatory windows. Not far from the hotel are situated Museum for Fire Brigade, a few hairdresser's and several bars and cafes.
