Hotel Neutral Bay Lodge (Sydney, Australia)

The staff at the lodge received a number of positive comments across reviews with many guest remarking how relaxed and happy the staff were, which set a positive tone for their stay.

The lodge is in a really central location in North Sydney, close to major roads in and out of central Sydney and north towards the central coast. The lodge is also close the Neutral Bay ferry stop which a number of previous guests commented was very convenient to access tourist spots around Sydeny Harbour.

A number of reviews focused on the price point of the hotel mentioning that they though that it was good value for money given its proximity and access to central Sydney, with many guest saying they would recommend the lodge to friends and family because of its great value.

Some of the rooms have shared facilities and some guests commented they were disappointed that there was not enough separation between these facilities and their rooms. In particular those rooms which are on the ground floor were also subject to whatever was happening in the kitchen, with some people feeling a lack of general privacy and space.

The lodge does not have air-conditioning and the lack of air-conditioning in the summer months left guests very hot and generally uncomfortable. Many guests commented that although the lodge is in the budget price range that they would have expected that in Australia all properties would have air-conditioned as standard.

Some previous travellers did not leave positive comments due to the road noise that they experienced from busy Kurraba Road which is a main access street in North Sydney.
