There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance as well. The Oktoberfest venue is about 20 minutes on foot, and the Christmas markets aren't too far away either.

Travellers often describe the rooms as very comfortable and stylish for their price range, with good beds, "luxurious" walk-in showers, and a superb view of the city from higher floors.  Munich is a notoriously expensive city, so guests also like to return to the inviting, well decorated bar for a reasonably priced nightcap, too.

Guests widely describe the front desk staff as friendly and professional, pleased to offer additional assistance or information. The housekeeping team also provides a high standard of service, with guests generally finding the rooms to be very clean and well maintained.

The lack of any "extra" amenities, such as a kettle, fridge, and telephone, is a frequently reported source of inconvenience and/or irritation.

The rooms are routinely described as "a little small" and lacking in storage space, particularly for couples or families. Drivers report that space is at a premium in the hotel parking garage as well.

Travellers have reported a weak Wi-Fi signal, though it has also been described  "excellent" in the lobby and on lower floors. The password system a bit irritating as well, particularly given the lack of a telephone to call down to reception for a new one each time the code expires.
