The rooms are exquisitely designed and furnished, and have a certain understated elegance. Each features gorgeous parquet floors, air conditioning, minibar, in-room safe, flat screen TV and hairdryer. Reception can assist with laundry, luggage storage and business and concierge services. Wi-Fi is free and available throughout. The very elegant restaurant serves top quality Swedish cuisine, with strong international influences. The bar is just as popular with the party crowd in Stockholm as with guests, and serves delicious cocktails and other drinks. Much of the top shopping and nightlife of the city can be found mere steps away from Miss Clara. Drottninggarten pedestrian precinct is just 200 yards away, and Stockholm Central Station just 0.7 miles.
Of course it was the central location that guests really appreciated about Miss Clara. Guests describe it as very central, but not right opposite places like Stockholm Central Station which they felt may present some problems. Specifically mentioned was Drottinggarten, the pedestrian street where many liked to do a bit of shopping.
Miss Clara describes itself as a design hotel, and guests do seem to agree that it has a very stylish design. They describe the décor as quirky, but not so quirky it became ridiculous. They seemed to find that the designers got the balance just right.
Again and again guests mentioned how friendly the staff at Miss Clara were, seemingly always having a smile on their face. And despite not always getting it 100% right, they were also said to be very willing to help guests out with their questions or issues.
It seems that Miss Clara has opted, at least on part, for the frosted glass bathrooms wall/door option. While guests concede this looks very good, they didn't like the lack of privacy that resulted.
A couple of guests mentioned that rooms sold in the same class could be very different sizes. While none really said any of them were too small, it did nevertheless result in some friction. Some in the smaller rooms felt hard done by.
Quite a number of guests mentioned that the views from the back rooms were, if not exactly ugly, uninspiring. The views out the front were said to be only a little better.
