Hotel Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham Holland (Holland, USA)

This is a great budget, pet-friendly location, except for times of large area events (like the Tulip Festival) when rates will surely be higher.  (Check around and compare in that case; you might find better options for much cheaper.)  A great spot for sleeping and moving on. You'll pass a few closed restaurants on your way to the venue; slightly off-putting.  Interstate 196 runs right past, so it's easy on/off for travelers with not much traffic noise at night.  Holland State Park is about ten miles away.  Breakfast is served daily (although seating is sparse), offering pastries, cereal, biscuits and gravy, and waffles.

Courteous and efficient staff will provide excellent customer service from arrival to departure. They seem to do the best they can with what they've got.

Most rooms are clean and adequate, although perhaps a bit small for some.  Beds are of average quality,and desks, night stands and window seats are pleasant.  You'll get a good night's sleep unless you're a particularly light sleeper - bring earplugs in that case.

A good scrubbing is in order for most units.  You may gag from the mildew odor.  Televisions get few channels, toiletries are tiny-sized, and sheets are stained.

Some felt the selection at breakfast was meager, offering nothing sugar-free or without grains. The coffee is less than popular.  Might as well dine elsewhere!

The management would be wise to renovate.  Lack of air conditioning in common areas brings certain unpleasant smells to guests' attention.  Upholstery has cigarette burns in some units and plumbing/toilets are prone to inefficiency and clogs.  Heating facilities are poorly functioning, beds are hard, carpeting needs steam-cleaned and furniture is worn and broken.  A fresh coat of paint would be great, too.
