Hotel Hampton Inn Holland (Holland, USA)

The hotel is nicely located for trips to Saugatuck, Grand Haven, Lake Michigan, downtown Holland, and state parks. It's centrally located to shopping and restaurants as well.

Rooms are spacious and very clean. It's refreshing to stay in a hotel that takes cleanliness so seriously. Down pillows and fitted sheets that don't come off during the night are akin to luxury. The hotel amenities are great too with two hot tubs, one indoor and the other outdoors, an arcade, and vending machine. It's great fun for the family and kids love the pool and game room.

The staff are friendly and welcoming. They take care of any issues quickly, which makes you feel that you are getting your money's worth as the hotel is a bit on the pricey side.

Though it seems like a unique idea, it's not. You have to keep the drapes closed and the noise can get quite loud. Not only that, the lights are very bright all through the night. Sitting on the balcony isn't pleasant either as you have the smell of chlorine and it's gets somewhat muggy as well.

The breakfast food is not the best quality. Though there is plenty to go around, things like fresh cut-up fruit are not always available. Fresh baked goods and real eggs would help.

You will be automatically charged for Wi-Fi. You aren't aware of it until you look at your bill and question what the weird charge is. The room is expensive enough, it would seem that Wi-Fi would be automatically included in the price.
