Hotel Mec (Milan, Italy)

Though located just on the outskirts of the downtown area, the hotel offers easy access to the city and most major sights, including the Duomo (Cathedral of Milan), and the famous Teattro alla Scala. The hotel also offers convenient access to major roadways and is a short drive from the Linate Airport. Public transport is readily available, with the metro only a five-minute walk away. Guests also appreciated the convenient of several supermarkets and restaurants in the immediate area.

Overall, guests were pretty pleased with the accommodations provided here. The rooms are well equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a refrigerator and a personal safe, and the hotel has a strong air conditioning system, which guests found very refreshing during Milan's hottest months.

You won't have an excuse to miss your workout. Guests were surprised to find a spacious, nicely-equipped gym onsite, adding that it beat expectations when compared to hotels of a similar class and budget.

This is an older hotel and guests say the rooms could use mild renovations and cosmetic repairs throughout. The rooms appear dark, and even a bit dirty. The walls could definitely use repainting for a fresher look.

The rooms are a bit on the smaller side, but many guests also say that this often typical of a three-star Milan hotel.
