Guestrooms at Mayfield are comfortable, with an excellent level of cleanliness. They are relatively spacious as well.

While the property is positioned in a quiet part of town, happily it is still very easy to access many amenities. You'll find yourself close to the train station, bus stops and coach station, as well as a number of restaurants and shops. On top of this the beach isn't too far either.

Staff at this hotel are really nice. Nothing is too much to ask for them. They will greet you warmly and will be attentive throughout your stay. Any issues will be resolved swiftly and efficiently, with the minimum of fuss.

The walls at Mayfield do feel rather thin, meaning that you might experience noise from adjacent rooms if the people in them aren't being especially quiet.

The showers at this hotel aren't the best. The water pressure is pretty dismal, meaning that washing isn't a particularly refreshing experience. What's more, the water temperature is troublesome as well. It takes quite a while to heat up and then regulating it can be tricky.

The internet connection here is fairly unreliable. It has a tendency to cut out and, even if you do remain online for a decent length of time, you might find it to be frustrating slow.
