The Mantra Trilogy is ideally located directly opposite the Cairns Esplanade, a short walk to the famous Cairns Lagoon and the Cairns Night Markets. Rooms and apartments feature either ocean or hinterland views and include modern amenities such as air conditioning, ceiling fans, cable TV, in-room safe, fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Take a dip in the sparkling outdoor pool or simply laze on the pool deck which overlooks the Pacific ocean. For the active guest there is also a gym on-site. Reception can organise local tours, luggage storage and laundry. The are four restaurants and a supermarket in the complex adjacent to the hotel and the restaurants and bars along the esplanade are a three minute walk away. The Mantra Trilogy is centrally located and Cairns International Airport is only 10 minutes by car. Kuranda Skyrail and the Great Barrier Reef are recommended day trips from the hotel.
Nothing beats an uninterrupted views across an ocean and the hotel has this from most if not all balconies facing the esplande. Those guests who stayed in these rooms mentioned the views. Guests also singled out the staff at the hotel who were very helpful during their stay.
The hotel is opposite the water and has direct access to the Esplanade which stretches for a few miles in each direction. A number of travellers thought that this was the best feature of the hotel.
The pool is set amongst lush tropical plants and has ample room to laze about on the provided sun beds as you gaze uninterrupted across to the water in the Cairns Harbour. Many guests mentioned the pool as the highlight of their stay.
On check-in guests are informed that housekeeping is not a daily standard service and that it is on rotation and needs to be specifically requested. A number of guests who were staying more than a few days commented that it was disappointing not to be able to have daily housekeeping.
