Hotel Madeira (Falmouth, United Kingdom)

Many guests were impressed with the warm and friendly welcome they received from all the staff and loved the homely atmosphere of the Madeira Hotel, with many stating they would return again because of this.

A great hotel if you want to be close to the beach as it is right along the seafront. It is also just a short walk into Falmouth Town Centre and the location was described as very relaxing and peaceful, ideal for those looking for a quieter holiday destination.

The size of the bedrooms drew many positive comments as did the spacious wardrobes with plenty of room to hang clothes so they did not become crumpled. The beds were also noted to be extremely comfortable

Some guests felt that their stay was spoilt because of the lack of Wi-Fi in the bedrooms. Even though it is available in communal parts of the hotel the access can be a bit on the slow side.

The hotel provides blankets a few guests were surprised and disappointed by this as they felt this was old-fashioned and duvets are to be expected in a modern hotel.

The hotel can become very hot and stuffy during the summer months because there is no air conditioning. It was mentioned by some guests that this made the bedrooms in particular uncomfortable and they found it hard to sleep.
