Hotel Lungarno (Florence, Italy)

Many guests enjoyed the gourmet restaurant that is on site and said the food was quite tasty. The ambiance was elegant yet cosy and it was convenient to have the dining place in the hotel.

The hotel's location was found to be ideal for most guests as it was not in the central and touristic area of Florence, yet still close enough to walk there. The location by the river was a short walking distance to most sites in the city.

The staff members were found to be friendly and charming, and people who were very well trained. They were unobtrusive and delightful. They gave insightful information of the city and take the hospitality and well-being of their guests seriously.

Some guests felt the air-conditioning was an issue for them during their stay. The air-conditioner either did not work properly or it worked too well but could not be switched off. This made the rooms stuffy or too cold.

The price for the hotel did not include breakfast which some guests were surprised about. Those who did pay for the breakfast thought it was too expensive. It was a normal breakfast that did not merit a high price.

The rooms were found to be noisy by some guests who felt the traffic noise was too much for them to get a good night's rest. They would have liked to have more soundproofing and felt the noise was too much for light sleepers to sleep well.
