Little Mead is a four-star B&B set at the end of tree-lined lane in the quaint Country Village of Sparshott; a short drive from the ancient Cathedral City of Winchester. Each of the three rooms has either an en-suite or private bathroom and all feature luxury bed linen, flat screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary bottled water. There is off-street parking available, a bike storage facility and laundry. Wi-Fi is free, and the surrounding gardens have plenty of seating areas for guests to enjoy. Home-cooked breakfasts are served in the informal dining room; with Full English Breakfasts, toast and preserves, cereal and fresh fruit served. The local pub; the Plough Inn, a short walk away, comes highly recommended for evening meals. Winchester City Centre is a ten-minute drive away, Winchester's Castle and Cathedral are both within five-miles, and the New Forest and Stonehenge are within easy reach.

For most guests, the breakfasts are the perfect start to a busy day. Hot options are cooked to order, fresh fruit and cereal are alternative options and smoked salmon and scrambled egg can also be ordered. Food is served at the large table in the dining room so guests can converse with one another in a relaxed environment, if they so wish.
While two of the three rooms are en-suite, the third room has a private bathroom instead. It is just a few steps away across a landing, however, this may be an issue for some.
Previous guests, who are on the tall side, have found the beds at Little Mead to be on the small side. This being said, the majority find the beds to be very comfortable.
The bed and breakfast can be found down a quiet tree-lined lane and, for some people unused to the driving conditions or not very adept at reversing, the narrow Country roads in the surrounding area could be daunting.
