Really good location.

Very handy for access from the 2 main railway stations, Eurostar and other transport links; it’s not surprising that this hotel is so popular with the business fraternity.

They don’t have that fixed smile on their faces; they just seem genuinely keen to help guests with queries or to find their way around Lille.

Poor ventilation.

Rooms can get rather stuffy due to lack of air con. If you try to combat this by opening a window, any benefit is offset by the traffic noise. Also, probably due to the number of business guests, the Wi-Fi system is liable to conk out, or get very near to that point.

‘Dying for a cup of tea’.

Surely, when spending mega bucks on renovation projects, someone, somewhere might think it a good idea to include tea and coffee facilities in hotel bedrooms? Apparently not!

Not a nice area.

The hotel itself is OK, but the surrounding area is somewhat ‘rough’.
