Hotel Les Jardins du Luxembourg (Paris, France)

The hotel is in an excellent location near the Luxembourg RER station (a direct line from CDG Airport) the Jardins du Luxembourg and the Sorbonne. The area around the hotel is surrounded with excellent restaurants, cafés and bars. The Musee du Luxembourg is only a ten minute walk through the gorgeous park. Rue Mouffetard, St. Michel, St. Germain, St. Sulpice, and Notre Dame are all within a 15 minute walk. The Latin Quarter offers a prime location for exploring Paris, but is still outside of the heavy tourist zone.

Previous guests reported that the hotel staff is extremely polite, check-in is a very fast process. The front desk personnel will do whatever it takes to make you feel welcome during your stay.

Although it is situated in a popular and lively district, the Hotel Jardins du Luxembourg is located on a quiet dead end street. There are also soundproof windows in the rooms, providing a silent night for all hotel guests. Light-sleepers will enjoy this hotel.

Some guests felt the hotel rooms and en suite bathrooms featured small and cramped conditions. Others noted tiny rooms and odd smells. The balcony is a small ledge railing, similar to other traditional French windows in Paris.

Some of the previous guests have reported intermittent Wi-Fi during the time of their stay.

The hotel lift is very small and worn-out. The lift opens up to dark corridors, the lights are activated by motion sensors. Many visitors felt that the lift service was slow and inconvenient.
