Super clean and tidy, rooms are really comfortable and quiet. The perfect place to ‘flake out’ after an astonishingly good meal in the restaurant!

Rooms include bottled water, a cafetiere with choices of coffee, dressing gowns, slippers and biscuits. Just ask and they’ll deliver fresh milk too.

Throughout the place they are excellent, friendly and always helpful.

Rooms aren’t special but they are very cramped with hardly any space to walk round. People visit here mainly for the dining. The guest room facilities are disappointing and are charitably described as being average.

Not only do they make you pay through the nose for the privilege of dining in their restaurant, be on your guard the following morning as they charge you even more if you want a cooked breakfast.

The restaurant charges are massive and clearly not designed for the man in the street. Consequently, for much of the time it’s ... deserted. Maybe they should show the same imagination with pricing as they do with the menus and come up with a sweetener in the form of dining options that aren’t dependent on the average guy re-mortgaging his property in order to eat here.
