Hotel Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa (Dana Point, USA)

Hotel guests enjoyed complimentary bike rentals, included in the resort fee. They also rent out beach equipment, such as towels, boogie and surf boards, and beach balls. A fee may apply for these items.

Guests enjoyed the large selection at the breakfast buffet. It is sure to please every palate and picky eaters. The omelet bar was a highlight. Starbucks coffee is always served in the hotel.

Enjoy the amazing views from your room, the restaurants and the lobby. From the hotel's prime top of the hill location, you can see the entire harbor, where many guests enjoy going for a run. Excellent dining options and the beach are just a downhill walk away. You can also easily walk to any part of downtown.

Guests weren't pleased with the pool area. Though there are two pools, they are both very small with limited seating. Chairs fill up quickly. The temperature of the water is colder than expected for a heated pool. Some guests also complained that the pool water was often dirty.

There is no self parking - only valet, for a fee. Guests complained the service of the valet staff was very poor. The staff always seems to be rushing, rude and acting very pushy with the guests. There is street parking available, but during the day only.

You should always double check your hotel bill. Many guests complained being unexpectedly charged for little things. There were also many errors in billing charges. Luckily, the staff is willing to resolve them should you bring it to their attention.
