Many valuables stolen from the rooms

A very worrying number of guests reported having items, sometimes valuable, stolen from their rooms. Management was usually not interested in trying to figure out what happened, with guests pointing the finger at both staff and management, saying they were the most likely culprits.

Absolutely filthy throughout

Guests really did not think much of the cleanliness of their rooms or the public areas of the hotel. About the best that was said about the matter was that the rooms were “dirty”, while more often than not the descriptions were much worse than this. To put it simply, most guests thought that the property was filthy.

Drug dealing and prostitution right outside

Quite a number of guests were unhappy with the hotel’s immediate surroundings. They report that they witnessed numerous drug deals and street prostitutes walking up and down. To some it was merely unsavoury, but others felt it presented a serious security threat.
