Hotel Kasbah Igoudar (Marrakech, Morocco)

The serenity of the country location was by far what guests most appreciated about Kasbah Igoudar. They felt that the site, architecture and décor combined to create a very relaxed and peaceful atmosphere that was exactly what they were looking for.

While the rooms are not exactly traditionally Moroccan, the guests seemed to like them nonetheless. They described the understated décor as very soothing and only adding to the sense of serenity already awakened by the setting.

The pool terrace was probably guest's favourite part of the hotel. They described the view towards the Atlas Mountains as simply sublime, and exactly what had compelled them to book a country property, instead of one in the city. Also, they naturally enjoyed the pool itself as well, especially after a long hot day.

While the remote location was what had in fact drawn most to the hotel, some felt, on reflection, that it was perhaps too remote. They pointed out that there really wasn't anything to do in the immediate surroundings, and a trip into the city would be a long and gruelling one.

While reviews of the staff were mixed, several guests mentioned that service tended to be very slow. While this could be charming at times, it wasn't always so, and guests thought that they would have been better served if the staff had been more efficient.

Again, reviews of the restaurant were mixed. There were very few complaints about the food itself, which seems to have been quite acceptable, but quite a few about the prices. Many simply thought that they were much too high for what was offered.
