Be sure to book a room on the hotel’s top floors where you will have a fantastic view of Paris at night. From up there, you can see the Eiffel Tower, Montmartre and Montparnasse, all with the backdrop of a glorious sunset (weather permitting).

ibis Paris Porte de Montreuil could use a renovation. Some of the furniture is in disrepair, the showers are leaky and the carpets are tired and worn. This makes for a less-than-pleasing aesthetic.

The standard guest rooms are on the small side here. So if you are travelling with more than one person or need extra room to maneuver, you may want to upgrade to a larger space.

Because this hotel is on the outskirts of Paris, the neighborhood is rather seedy in places. Be mindful of this when you are walking around, especially at night. The one good thing is that if you do take advantage of the hotel’s car park, it is a secured, underground space.
