The clever design of the rooms appealed to many reviewers, who described them as functional but well-cleaned, smart and comfortable.  There was praise for the city views from selected rooms. Many guests felt the rooms were fine for a shorter city break on a budget.

This hotel was in a southern neighbourhood of Paris just off the Boulevard Périphérique, making it easily accessible for motorists, who also appreciated the availability of paid parking close by and the proximity of petrol stations. The nearest metro station was a short walk away, enabling hassle-free trips to the heart of the city for sightseeing, museums and shopping. Another bonus was that there were dining options, bars and shops nearby.

Plenty of visitors had praise for the pleasant and helpful personnel, several of whom were multilingual. Many guests experienced a swift check-in. Diners often liked the basic but affordable and plentiful breakfast option.

The room layout and design wasn't to everybody's taste. Critics claimed some toilet and shower rooms resembled cubicles or that there were rooms which were poorly ventilated. There was also criticism of the shortage of storage space and power sockets for those travelling with multiple devices. Furthermore, critics felt it was difficult to adjust the temperature to their liking or that the rooms were too small, particularly at full occupancy.

The room design posed occasional privacy issues for some visitors sharing rooms as there were glass doors to some of the en suite bathroom facilities.

Although guests welcomed the free Internet access, the Wi-Fi speeds were reportedly sluggish at times and critics disliked having to renew access periodically.
