Travellers who splurge on the river view rooms enjoy sitting out on the balcony and watching the big boats go by.

Guests also enjoy an expansive river view from the rooftop patio, especially in the evening, as all the lights and fountains add to the relaxing atmosphere. The pool is not particularly large or deep, so kids love it and adults are happy to enjoy a beverage from the portable bar while supervising the fun. The poolside cabanas offer televisions, and guests love that there's no extra charge to use them.

Guests rave about the reception and valet staff, describing the team as friendly, kind, and knowledgeable about the many restaurants and attractions within walking distance (for those whose feet can take the heat!). Compliments also go to the chef on the breakfast buffet, and the evening receptions are widely considered a treat.

Some drivers are annoyed by the hotel's valet parking policy, noting the lot is not far and self parking there would be more convenient, as delays to get the car in or out are not uncommon.

Guests in rooms close to the gym have been disturbed by the noise, while others have been disappointed that to find that their "river view" was largely of old, dilapidated buildings. Some rooms have particularly small bathrooms, too.
