The suites are widely described as very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and tastefully decorated, with a good amount of space for a couple or family to share. Guests appreciate the well equipped kitchens with large refrigerators, and many find the beds very comfortable. The swimming pool and basketball court are a hit with families, too.

The front desk staff and hotel manager have earned many rave reviews for their friendly smiles and professional customer service. Hungry guests are pleased to find a good variety of hot dishes as well as the usual continental options at the breakfast buffet, and appreciate the hospitality at the evening socials, too.

The hotel is popular with business travellers and extended stay guests who like the quiet location, very close to a mall and lots of restaurants, including a BBQ place right next door. It's also very easily accessible from the highway for a 30-minute (or so) commute into downtown Houston.

Though the hotel has a 100% smoke-free policy, some guests have reported a strange "musty" odour in the lobby and guest rooms.

Guests hoping to unwind in front of the television have been annoyed by how slowly the channels change and the lack of an accurate guide. A few have found the Wi-Fi too poky or unreliable as well.
