Holiday Inn Express Rochester - University Area, An Ihg Hotel (Rochester, USA)

The hotel is situated off the highway which provides guests with access to a number of Rochester's attractions that include the University and the Strong Memorial Hospital which are within two miles of the hotel's location and easily accessible via the convenient highway. Guest are also ideally located for shopping as there is a wide selection of shops for guests to browse. The airport is also situated in fairly close proximity to the hotel and guests will have a stress free journey to and from it.

Guests found the staff to be extremely friendly and personable; they go out of their way to provide excellent customer service and create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that will make guests feel comfortable upon arrival. They will promptly accommodate requests or queries guests may have and will happily provide information about the Rochester area.

The rooms are fairly well-sized, allowing for plenty of space, and the beds are similarly spacious and very comfortable thanks to a supportive mattress and fresh bedding. The rooms include a number of modern amenities such as Wi-Fi access and cable televisions that will ensure guests feel at home for the duration of their stay.

A number of guests were disappointed by the fact that there were renovations going on during their stay and they would have liked to have been alerted to this fact. However, this is not a consistent problem and will be resolved soon.

The Wi-Fi tends to be unreliable and intermittent in its quality of connection and many guests were disappointed by this.

Some guests found the complimentary breakfast to be bland and tasteless, focusing in particular on the eggs, however some guests considered it a bonus and found it satisfying.
