Hotel Holiday Inn Express New York-Brooklyn (Brooklyn, USA)

The hotel is located in the vibrant Park Slope area of Brooklyn which is populated with numerous bars, cafes and restaurants that guests can explore. There are several subway stations within walking distance of the hotel from which guests can easily access the center of Manhattan or other boroughs of New York and they can do so in a relatively short amount of time. A number of Brooklyn's renowned places of interest are within two miles of the hotel, such as the Barclays Center and the Brooklyn Bridge.

The staff are extremely helpful, friendly and more than happy to provide information about the area or the hotel. They provide excellent customer service and endeavour to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that will make guests feel at home upon arrival.

Guests were impressed with the size of the rooms, especially when considering the fact that many hotels based in big cities are unable to provide spacious accommodation. The beds are similarly well-sized and very comfortable, with supportive mattresses, plush pillows and premium bedding. The rooms are kept considerably clean by a diligent housekeeping staff and the bathroom are well-maintained and hygienic.

Some guests felt that the breakfast could do with more variety and these same guests also found the food to be on the bland side however, other guests found the breakfast to be satisfactory and some listed it as a highlight of their stay at this hotel.

The elevator is rather slow and takes its time to reach the desired level; many guests found this to be an annoyance.

A number of guests found the ice machine to be annoying as it was very loud and this was a problem particularly for guests whose rooms were near the floor's ice machine.
