Guests noted that the hotel offers some decent amenities that can come in quite handy such as the pool, the hot tub, the business center and the modern gym. What was most helpful to many guests, however, was the free airport shuttle, which was reported to be efficient and staffed with great drivers.

Guests noted that the front-desk staff was professional, polite, efficient during the check-in process and helpful in terms of recommending local restaurants and attractions. Furthermore, the shuttle drivers were mentioned as being pleasant and another source of helpful information.

Guests liked the hotel's waterfront location overlooking the ocean on one side and the marina on the other. They noted that you could easily walk to restaurants on the island and the airport, Sea World, Seaport Village and the Midway Museum are only a short drive from the hotel. It was also mentioned that the location was ideal for watching fireworks on special occasions with unobstructed views.

Several guests noted that the bathtubs had issues draining, leaving them to stand in a couple of inches of water. Furthermore, some of the rooms were not as clean as one would expect with issues like dirty tubs and floors something that could have easily been addressed. A few guests had trouble with broken TVs or air-conditioners, which took a while to get fixed.

Guests noted that the restaurant meals were quite tasty but they didn't find breakfast to be as impressive.

A few guests stated that you might experience noise as the harbor-facing side is opposite the airfield with air traffic continuing throughout the night.
